Many of you don’t know this but my firstborn was due on Thanksgiving day and baby made the arrival that day! So, fall has always been a really exciting special time around here ever since starting to have kiddos.
Do you have any fall festivities that you do as a family?
Our family enjoys visiting the apple orchard, pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins, and taking family photos. We always decorate our home for the holidays (and usually a little early)! ????

fall and Thanksgiving Free Printable Decor
Last year, we didn’t know it was going to be my grandma’s last Thanksgiving with us. She was like a glue in my mom’s family… You know, the grandma that baked everyone’s favorite recipes, the one everyone called when they had good news to share or needed reassurance, the emotional and spiritual leader, and like a second mother to all.
It has been a rough year for our family; however, we have been able to praise God for her presence in our lives. Last weekend, we all got together to celebrate her and bake up all the goodies she used to somehow manage to bake us all every Thanksgiving and Christmas.
We had such a great time giggling and baking together in her memory! So, these Fall and Thanksgiving printables free for download are to remind us all this holiday season that we are truly blessed by Jesus and the family we have had and do have!

Favorite Fall & Thanksgiving Bible Verses
Does your family have any special Thanksgiving traditions?
In our family, we have started to incorporate my first born’s birthday celebration along with Thanksgiving!
We have the usual… Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, baked corn, green bean casserole, pumpkin pie and apple pie.
As a family, we have my mom’s oldest brother say a prayer of thanks to God. Then, we typically go around the table and say what we are grateful for this year.
Here are some of my favorite Thanksgiving Bible Verses that might bless your Thanksgiving celebration this year:
I always thank my God concerning you, for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus 1 Corinthians 1:4 WEB
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful. Colossians 3:15 WEB
you being enriched in everything to all generosity, which produces thanksgiving to God through us. 2 Corinthians 9:11 WEB
Sing to Yahweh, all the earth! Display his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, and his marvelous works among all the peoples. For great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised. He also is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but Yahweh made the heavens. 1 Chronicles 16:23-26 WEB
What are you thankful for this year?
This year, I am thankful for how God has given families around the world more time at home together. I can also see that He has drawn families closer to Him. Whether it is through crisis or by slowing down our lifestyles, He has given us the chance to cling closer to Him!
I am grateful we serve a Lord who cares to be near to us.
Happy Thanksgiving, my dear friend!
